Welcome to MTB Annecy. Nestled between a crystal-clear lake and the Alps, Annecy is one of the finest mountain biking playgrounds in France. Whether you have never ridden off-road or you are chasing technical single-tracks, our team and our terrain have something for you — in classic MTB or in electric mountain bike (e-MTB).
Guided MTB & e-MTB outings
The easiest way to discover the best trails is to ride with a state-certified guide. We handle everything — the route, the difficulty, the safety briefing — so you can simply enjoy the ride. The electric assistance smooths out the climbs, lets riders of different fitness levels stay together and makes it possible to chain several descents in a single day. Where we ride: Semnoz & La Clusaz
The Semnoz is the local star: rising to 1,699 m right above the lake, it offers a 360° panorama over three lakes and the Mont-Blanc, plus descents ranked among the most beautiful in France. Just 25 minutes from the town centre, it is a true network of natural trails — flowing forest tracks, alpine traverses and playful single-tracks.
Thirty minutes away, the resort of La Clusaz unfolds 125 km of marked trails in the Aravis range, with chairlifts open in summer so you can lap the descents without pedalling uphill. From family-friendly green runs to engaged black trails and the bike park, every level is catered for.
MTB school & coaching
Want to progress? Our MTB school in Annecy teaches the fundamentals that make every ride safer and smoother — body position, braking, line choice and obstacle clearing. Every level is welcome, from riders who have never left a forest track to experienced pilots sharpening their downhill skills. Formats run from a private half day to a three-session skills course, and everything leaves from the shop in the town centre. From age 12 and 1.50 m (14 for the guided rides).
Semnoz e-MTB ride — 2.5 to 3 hours of riding
The high-end electric mountain bike is provided, with helmet and pads. We leave from the shop, reach the trails by bike and ride back down above the lake. From age 14 and 1.50 m.
